About Thom Glace
Thom Glace is a nature artist, specializing in transparent watercolor studies of fish(especially trout & salmon) and dragonfly species- with an occasional landscape thrown in for fun. Thom had to retire young due to a heart condition. He has been able to enjoy his love of painting since then. He had an interesting career in International Marketing that took he and his wife, Mary, to various locations around the world. After living in locations such as The Netherlands, St. Croix USVI, New Hampshire, North Carolina (Graduate of UNC- Chapel Hill) -he ended up back in Central Pennsylvania, where he was raised. So, after traveling to over 60 countries and 40 + states, Thom has been forced to end his wanderlust lifestyle. Now he lives vicariously through his art. At this time, he has over 80 different fish species and 50 different dragonfly species in his portfolio- found on his web site. He recently was festival artist for the 2014 Virginia Fly Fishing & Wine Festival.
Besides being available though this site, He has been fortunate to be represented by various galleries across the US, including New Hampshire,Montana, Florida, Oregon, Texas, North Carolina and across Pennsylvania (Gettysburg, Boiling Springs, New Cumberland, Lancaster, Harrisburg & Colburn). They carry a variety of Canvas and Paper Giclee Prints and Posters and Greetings Cards and, of course, originals at their galleries. To Find out more details on these galleries check the web site: www.thomglacewater.com
